Two Decades of Independent Testing
J. Wesley Services Group was founded in 2004 by Jeffery Wesley with a straightforward mission: deliver independent, standards-based electrical testing that owners and operators can trust. From the beginning, the company was built around the principle that the testing firm must be independent of the equipment manufacturer and the installing contractor — the same principle that underpins the NETA standards we work to every day.
Over more than twenty years, we have grown from a single-technician operation into a respected regional testing firm with a track record across petrochemical facilities, municipal utilities, industrial plants, and commercial developments throughout Alabama and the Gulf Coast. Our client relationships are long-term — many of the facilities we first tested at commissioning still call us for their annual maintenance programs.
We are based in Chunchula, Alabama, and we are proud to be a locally owned, owner-operated business. When you work with J. Wesley Services Group, you work directly with the people doing the work — not a national firm's subcontractor.

Jeffery Wesley
Owner & Principal
Jeffery Wesley founded J. Wesley Services Group after building his career in the electrical testing industry, developing deep expertise in NETA acceptance and maintenance testing, protective relay calibration, and high-voltage cable testing across a wide range of industrial and utility environments.
Jeffery holds certifications aligned with NETA standards and maintains active involvement in industry training and continuing education to keep the company's technical capabilities current with evolving equipment and test methods. His hands-on approach means he remains directly involved in the most technically demanding projects the company undertakes.

What We Stand For
Independence
We are not affiliated with any equipment manufacturer, installing contractor, or utility. Our findings are objective, documented, and delivered solely in the interest of the equipment owner.
Standards-Based Practice
Every test we perform is conducted in accordance with NETA ATS or MTS standards, NFPA 70E, and applicable IEEE and ANSI guidelines. We do not cut corners on procedure or documentation.
Safety First
We hold stop-work authority on every job site. No schedule pressure, no client request, and no commercial consideration overrides the safety of our technicians or the personnel working around us.
Thorough Documentation
Test reports are complete, traceable, and written to be useful — not just to satisfy a closeout checklist. Owners receive documentation they can rely on for warranty claims, insurance, and future maintenance planning.
Direct Communication
We communicate findings clearly and promptly. If we discover a deficiency that affects safety or reliability, you hear about it immediately — not buried in a report delivered weeks later.
